Notched out some motor noise and selectively eliminated or lessened some other noises for aesthetic reasons.

Nothing is looped or enhanced in any way. The final 28 seconds of the file is the stylus riding in the lock groove near the label. So, we decided to create a high-fidelity recording of savory wright® brand bacon cooking for 19 minutes and 22 seconds, a nod to the year we were founded. This sample was created by taping a razor blade to a contact microphone and allowing the blade to scrape against the edge of a record spinning on a turntable. The reverb was added in real time, so there's not a dry signal recording. Very reminiscent of tg's "hamburger lady" in some ways. Sounds like a human voice almost.

This a recording of a particularly noisey locked groove found at the end of a 78 record.

It's the 80s and i'm about half-way through making a punk/new wave party mix tape when my turntable starts repeating itself. Unwilling to to back and re-record the mix, i batted the needle around on the record for half a second and stopped the tape. This is the part that isn't recognizable as "hey, st. Peter!".

I recorded the output of my deck and messed with the speed and pitch, as well reversing the audio and adding some distortion and other effects once it was in my daw. A friend of mine has recorded some sounds from warsaw underground train. Then i have procesed it with lmms to get something similar to dj scratching. Hopefully you'll find some use for it.

I recorded this a ways back on a cassette recorder and i tried to remove as much hiss as i could with sony's 'sound forge' but i think the hiss kinda gives it an old time vinyl sound. Please comment on what you will use it for. Thanks. :^).
