119 Royalty-Free Audio Tracks for "Vinyl Record"

I started recording a vinyl lp into my computer before realising that i hadn’t set the anti-skate properly and the needle was stuck in the lead-in groove. I trimmed this bit of snap crackle n’ pop and kept it in the hope that it might be useful for me or anyone else. Have fun.

In an attempt to add warmth to my productions, i sampled some of the more distinctive sounds mostly from the lead-ins and lead-outs from dirty/scratched records. If shortened, they make for interesting _analog_ glitch noises.

A recording from beginning to end of a continuous blank groove on a 1940s-era 12-inch 78 rpm test record, including the needle catching the outer groove at the beginning, and resting in the inner groove loop at the end.

A friend of mine has recorded some sounds from warsaw underground train. Then i have procesed it with lmms to get something similar to dj scratching. Hopefully you'll find some use for it.

A compilation of accidental recordings or recordings of terrible quality i made, with the pops and crackles and interesting parts all together. I'm currently working on some musical ideas for a good friend's cartoon series and thought i'd upload this little experiment with an old vinyl of some mozart. I recorded the output of my deck and messed with the speed and pitch, as well reversing the audio and adding some distortion and other effects once it was in my daw.
